7:00pm – 9:00pm
Petteruti Lounge, Campus Center (Faunce)
This event will be a panel featuring two incredible individuals who currently serve in the U.S. government: Congressman David Cicilline and Ambassador Richard Boucher.
The purpose of the event is for the two individuals to receive a list of questions that pertain to their personal experiences both working in the region, specifically on the Israel-Palestine peace process, in order to conjecture about policy solutions for the future of the Israel-Palestinian conflict. The varied experiences serving both the Department of State and Congress not only provide legislative and foreign policy perspectives, but also a range of political experience as both have served under Republican and Democrat administrations.
Co-sponsored by Brown Students for Israel, Brown College Democrats, Brown University Republicans, the Watson Institute for International and Public Affiars, International Relations, and Middle East Studies.
