2021-2022 Mahmoud Darwish Visiting Fellows in Palestinian Studies

With generous funding through the Mahmoud Darwish Chair, we will be hosting three female Palestinian scholars as Visiting Fellows in Palestinian Studies in 2021-22.  Rema Hammami, associate professor of anthropology, faculty member at the Institute of Women's Studies, Birzeit University; Ruba Salih, professor at the Department of Anthropology and Sociology of the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London; Noura Erakat, human rights attorney and associate professor at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. In addition to a public lecture, each of the scholars will be organizing a panel discussion on currently relevant matters related to their research, visiting undergraduate classes, and meeting with graduate students.
